Volkswagen Group has made a model plan for the next 10 years (2024-2034). The following are some of the models that Volkswagen Group will launch before 2027.
In the B-segment, Volkswagen Polo production in Europe ended in July, and Volkswagen may remodel the car in 2025 and continue to produce it in South Africa until 2030; Volkswagen ID.2 will be produced on the MEB Entry front-wheel drive platform and will debut in 2025, but will not be available until 2026; other future models of the MEB Entry platform include Volkswagen ID.2X, Cupra Raval and Skoda Epiq.
In June this year, SAIC Volkswagen announced that it will produce a new Tharu XR in China, which is expected to be remodeled in 2027 and replaced in 2030 or 2031. In addition, the next generation Volkswagen T-Roc is expected to be launched in 2025 or 2026.
Volkswagen Group has confirmed that it will also put an electric compact SUV into production in Wolfsburg, Germany in 2026, but has not disclosed much information. It is reported that the model may be the ID.3 SUV.
By 2026 or 2027, Volkswagen Group also plans to launch two electric SUVs in India (one for the Volkswagen brand and one for the Skoda brand). By then, Volkswagen Group will also launch two electric SUVs jointly developed with Xiaopeng Motors in the Chinese market.
In April this year, Volkswagen ID.Code made its debut at the Beijing Auto Show and is expected to be launched in 2027. As the first model of the ID UX series, Volkswagen ID.UNYX is expected to be launched in a few months.
